Stones and sludge

Apparently, my gall bladder is full of both. I have a surgical consult next week. The hope is to push out the removal until at least mid-second trimester.

Oh, no. I hope the consult goes well.

My mom has no gall bladder anymore either.

I'm sorry. I had my gallbladder removed about 10 years ago. The surgery wasn't bad at all, but I know pregnancy adds another dimension of worry to the situation. Did the talk with you about ways you could change your diet in the meantime to decrease the pain from the gallstones? That made a difference for me. It stinks you have to deal with this now. You deserve to just enjoy your pregnancy.

Ugh. I have heard from others how painful gallbladder issues can be.

At the same time, I am SO glad that your pregnancy is going well. PHEW!

XOXO

Oh, no! I'm so sorry about your gallbladder :( My grandmother had to have hers removed because it gave her so much trouble.

I hope you can make it through the next few months for the removal. Lots of hugs to you! XOXO

Ugh, hope there are things you can do to feel better and you can wait for surgery!
