Finally some good news! DH tested negative for cystic fibrosis.
The doctor still wants me to see the genetic counselor before I start an IUI cycle, but at least we have a shot now.
I guess I had pretty much convinced myself that DH was a carrier and we were not going to be able to even pursue the IUIs. I really needed some positive news to give me even a litle jolt of hope. I think that the hardest part of infertility is the hopelessness, the feeling of why bother.
